$newsid = ''; ?> The paintings I buy keep getting slightly larger and slightly more expensive with each purchase, but no, I don't have a problem.
Like two other paintings I bought, this one is by Michael Schliefke, who titled it "Wise Blood" after the book by Flannery O'Connor and the accompanying movie. Just what this fellow is selling is left as an exercise for the reader, but I think we know how he voted.
There are two places you can see Michael's paintings right now. There's a show at the Dougherty through November 29, which also has some large charcoals by Win Wallace that are worth a trip. And Michael's studio will be on the East Austin Studio Tour again this weekend, along with 50 (!) other studio and gallery spaces on the east side. See my EAST report from last spring for a sample.
