There's a row of movie trailers alongside Ramsey Park and they're shooting a movie in a Rosedale house. Rumor has it that it is a kidnap/murder thriller called A Promise Kept ("When Detective Ben Simm's wife is killed, he has to learn to be both father and mother to his little girl while searching for a Vigilante that has his own sense of justice."); the cast includes Mimi Rogers and Joey Lauren Adams (she of Chasing Amy fame). Such namedropping for a quiet Austin neighborhood! Rumor further has it that Joey Lauren Adams actress likes Pacha and is considering buying a house in Austin. I guess that would make her the next Sandra Bullock: big fish in a very small pond.
