Hoaxes separated at birth
I was trying to figure out why the picture on the left looked familiar and then I realized that it reminded me of the picture on the right.
I've always thought that Bush/chimp comparisons were silly and I'm sure these two are alike for the perfectly logical reason that they represent upright primates hurrying across the field of view of an unwelcome observer. Even so my subconscious couldn't be kept from connecting the two.
And yet given the unraveling of the Bush presidency and what we're learning about Bigfoot, maybe the comparison is more than skin-deep. (Bush news via fullmoon.)
