Having been psyched by the two Norah Jones tracks on Charlie Hunter's Songs from the Analog Playground, especially her cover of my fave old Brian Ferry tune More Than This, and furthermore being intrigued (I'm not too proud to admit it) by the stories about her being Ravi Shankar's love child, I've been waiting eagerly for the Dallas wunderkind's Blue Note debut Come Away with Me. It's scheduled for release in late February, and no word yet of a Texas tour. Until then, I'm trying to keep my expectations within reason with this lukewarm review.
